FROM THE COACH
Welcome to Wildcat Basketball. As the head coach at Neuqua Valley
High School, Naperville Illinois, I have seen the Wildcats grow into one of
the most exciting teams in the Upstate Eight Conference and I expect the
2009-10 season to be no different.
The home of the Wildcats will continue to play host to some of the best
teams in the State of Illinois. Our 2009-10 edition of Neuqua women’s
basketball is poised to continue the trend as one of the top teams in the
State. From my first season at Neuqua to the last season the Wildcats
have continued a tradition of excellence capturing four conference titles,
six state regional championships, and two State finishes in ten years. That
success can be traced to an exciting style of play and an outstanding
family atmosphere.
Fans of Wildcat basketball can expect us to push the ball up the court and
challenge opposing defenses for thirty two minutes each and every game.
Our fast pace tempo will create more scoring and a brand of basketball
that is exciting to watch. Whether on the court, in the locker room, or
hanging out, you will see that our team is passionate about basketball as
well as their academic pursuits and volunteering in the community. They
are a close knit family of which everyone can be a part.
